📖 How classes work

STEMliCo gives a teacher a class space in two minutes: no student accounts, emails or passwords — just a code.

🧑‍🏫 For teachers — 6 steps

Create an account
Hit “Create account”: name, email, password. This is the only registration in the whole flow.

Create a class
On the dashboard type a name (“7-A Science”) — the class instantly gets a 6-character CODE.

Share the code
Say it out loud or write it on the board. A ready-made announcement script is below.

Assign materials
On the class page search site materials by title → “Assign”. Add a note if you like (“read by Friday”).

Create a quiz
Add questions with options (one or several correct, points). While the quiz is a Draft students can't see it; press “Open for class” when ready and “Close quiz” when time is up.

Watch the progress
The class page shows every student: assignments done, quiz scores, and how many students finished each assignment.

📣 What to tell your class (ready script)

“Open stemlico.com and tap For classes. Enter the code: ______ and your first and last name. Press Join class — you'll see the assignment list. Finished an assignment? Tap the ✓ circle. When I open a quiz — press Start quiz. One attempt only!”

💡 Students need NO accounts, emails or passwords — just the code and their own name. Works on phones too.

🎒 For students — 3 steps

1.Open the “For classes” page and enter the teacher's code + your name.
2.Do the assignments from the list and tick them with ✓.
3.When the teacher opens a quiz — take it. One attempt, instant result.

💡 Good to know

Name already taken in the class? Ask the student to add a surname or an initial.
Quiz questions can be edited only until the first submission — then they lock so grading stays fair.
You can remove a student on the class page — their progress is deleted, the code keeps working.
A student re-enters from the same browser without the code (remembered for half a year).
One teacher — any number of classes; one class — one code.
